Sandwichmaking

Should you make your lunch sarnies the night before or in the morning?

Night before: Risk of forgetting them, they go a bit soggy
Morning: Risk of missing the train.

And don't even think of suggesting getting up earlier. That is not up for discussion.

Elly again. Night before, no question. What is a soggy sandwich compared to 2.5 extra minutes in bed? It's no contest. NB use cherry tomatoes instead of sliced ones, and eliminate all chutneys, pickles and salad items, and your sandwich will remain fresh and firm. It will also be a little dull, but - hey! - TWO POINT FIVE EXTRA MINUTES. Marmite on wheatgerm, anyone?

I don't have this dilemma at all.

Nick is an early bird and a generous man, so he gets up and makes me lovely fresh sarnies every morning while I slumber on! Then he puts them in my bag so I don't forget them. Sometimes he puts little treats in their as well, or little love notes.

Every girl should have a husband.
